Two-Week Volunteer Abroad Program in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai, Thailand Education

Travel to Chiang Mai and take part in a memorable and fulfilling Voluntour opportunity where you can immerse yourself in the diverse and striking country of Thailand. Through this program, you can volunteer in childcare, teaching or monk teaching, with project placement depending on your preferences and the program’s needs. Outside of volunteering, you’ll take a weekend tour to Chiang Rai, a full-day Lampang visit and a half-day visit to Wat Phra and Thai Doi Suthep. Enjoy being immersed in Thai culture and learn about the local way of life first-hand by interacting with local people. Taste delicious Thai cuisine and even learn a few words in a native dialect. This is an experience you’ll never forget!

As a volunteer, you’ll work to empower the communities of Chiang Mai as you discover enchanting Thai culture and nature with this unforgettable 14-day volunteer experience. The volunteer activities that you’ll take on will vary depending on what’s needed at the time, but can include child care, teaching or monk teaching. Bamba Experience works with a variety of NGOs, government institutions, and other community-related welfare institutions with a need for volunteers to dedicate their skills and time to carry out important social work.
